The Waterhole Down at the Waterhole eating all the grass, first came a warthog and then came a giraffe, then came a Llama and a little tadpole, and they all sat down to drink at the watering hole. They thought that they were all alone there, but soon came along a great big grizzly bear, he said, "Do you mind if I sit and drink here too?" they said, "Sure, whatever you want, there's plenty of water for me and you!" What other animals came down to the waterhole to drink? ZEBRA! LION! ELEPHANT! DUCK! A zebra a lion an elephant and a duck, came down together in a great big yellow truck and when they got really close the other animals said, "Hello!, Welcome to this waterhole!" And then the sun went down and they all began to sleep. They drank so much water and it wasn't very deep. But when they woke up the next day they got very scared, what if there wasn't enough water there? But the warthog said, "Don't worry, it's going to be alright, because it rained and rained and rained all night. And now there's plenty of water in our hole, for each and every one of us animals! Some more animals came down... TURTLE! ALLIGATOR! BEAR! SNAKE! A turtle, an alligator, a bear, and a snake came down to the waterhole with a birthday cake. They said, "this cake has made our mouths so very dry do you mind if we sit down here by your waterside?" And then the sun went down and they all began to sleep. They drank so much water and it wasn't very deep. But when they woke up the next day they were not very scared, because they knew that there was plenty of water there! They were so happy they got up to dance!
